Do I need a referral?
A GP referral with a valid Mental Health Care Plan is recommended for the individual sessions.
You do not need a GP referral or Mental Health Care Plan to attend the group therapy sessions.
Is there a rebate?
The Medicare rebate for individual sessions is $136.35 with a valid Mental Health Care Plan from a GP.
Please note there is no Medicare rebate available for the group sessions.
You may be able to claim with your health insurance provider (for group and individual sessions), depending on your policy.
Who do you see?
People aged 18 and above from Australia wide.
HOW MUCH DOES IT cost?
Individual Therapy
Each individual therapy session costs $230
If you have valid Mental Health Care Plan you will receive a rebate of $136.35
(out of pocket expense $93.70)
